A 30-year-old man from Lancaster, Missouri, was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash southwest of Downing, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 9:00 p.m. on October 4, 2026, on Davis Hill Avenue, about four miles southwest of Downing, the Patrol's online crash report states.

According to the report, a 2023 Polaris General was traveling southbound on Davis Hill Avenue when the vehicle was involved in the crash. The occupant, the 30-year-old Lancaster man, sustained serious injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol said.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop B is investigating the incident, logged under report number 260423000. No other vehicles were reported involved, and no fatalities resulted from the crash.
