An 18-year-old woman from Kennett sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash on US 412 near Cardwell late Friday night, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at 11:38 p.m. on October 16, 2026, about two miles west of Cardwell at the intersection of US 412 and MO AC, the Patrol's online crash report states. A 2019 Hyundai Elantra traveling eastbound collided with a 2017 Freightliner Cascadia traveling southbound, according to the preliminary report.
The young driver was transported for medical treatment following the collision, the Patrol said. No other injuries were reported, and the crash resulted in no fatalities.
Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop E is investigating the incident, which has been logged under crash report number 260440274.
