A crash on I-35 Southbound in Clay County left an 18-year-old woman with minor injuries, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred at approximately 8:50 a.m. on August 15 near mile marker 21.4, the Highway Patrol reported. Troop A responded to the scene.

According to the Patrol's online crash report, a 2005 Ford Focus and a 2023 Peterbilt 579 were both traveling southbound on I-35 when the crash occurred. The driver of the Ford Focus, an 18-year-old woman from Kearney, Missouri, sustained minor injuries in the incident, the Patrol said.

She was transported for medical treatment following the crash, authorities confirmed.
