A 52-year-old Kansas City woman suffered minor injuries early Saturday morning when the vehicle she was driving crashed on Interstate 29 in Platte County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 4:25 a.m. south of mile marker 30.4, the Patrol's online crash report states. The driver was operating a 2022 Chevrolet TrailBlazer traveling north at the time of the single-vehicle incident.

Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time, according to weather data.

The woman was transported to a hospital for treatment of her injuries, the Patrol reported. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
