A 22-year-old man from Kansas City, Kansas, suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Salebarn Road east of Cameron, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported at 6:00 p.m. on September 5, 2026, about two miles east of Cameron in Caldwell County, the Patrol's online crash report states. Troop H, which covers the area, is handling the investigation.

According to the preliminary report, the man was driving a 2017 Polaris UTV northbound at the time of the crash. He was the vehicle's only occupant and sustained injuries described as serious. He was transported to a medical facility for treatment, the Patrol said.

No other vehicles were reported involved in the crash, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol has not released additional details about how the crash occurred.
