A 48-year-old Kansas City, Kansas man suffered moderate injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 westbound in Lafayette County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at mile marker 56.0 on July 17, 2026, at approximately 8:55 p.m., the Patrol's preliminary online crash report states. The driver was operating a 2006 Honda Civic traveling westbound at the time of the crash.
