A juvenile rider was injured Thursday afternoon after a single-vehicle crash on US-60 about six miles west of Neosho, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.

The Patrol said the crash occurred around 12:00 p.m. on October 1, 2026, in Newton County, within Troop D's jurisdiction. The only vehicle involved was a 2022 Suzuki DR-Z125 motorcycle traveling eastbound on US-60 at the time, authorities said.

Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time of the crash, according to weather data.

The juvenile driver of the motorcycle sustained minor injuries in the crash, the Patrol reported. The injured rider was transported for medical treatment following the incident.
