A juvenile driver died and a 45-year-old Bonne Terre woman was seriously injured following a two-vehicle crash on US 67 Southbound at Shannon Road in St. Francois County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at 4:55 p.m. on Aug. 6, 2026, the Patrol's online crash report shows. A 1987 Ford F-150 was traveling eastbound when it collided with a 2013 Audi Q7 traveling southbound, according to the report.
The juvenile driver of one of the vehicles sustained fatal injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol said. The 45-year-old woman was also transported for treatment of serious injuries, according to the report.
At the time of the crash, weather data recorded moderate drizzle in the area, with a temperature near 71 degrees and light wind.
Troop C of the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to and is investigating the incident, identified in Patrol records as crash number 260332022.
