A juvenile suffered minor injuries in a single-vehicle crash on RT N about five miles east of Mount Vernon, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at 5:25 p.m. on July 19, 2026, the Patrol's online crash report states. A 2019 Jeep Wrangler was traveling north on RT N when the incident happened, in an area under Troop D jurisdiction, according to the Patrol.

The juvenile occupant of the Jeep sustained minor injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol reported. No fatalities were reported in connection with the crash.

Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time, according to weather data, with temperatures around 90 degrees.
