A juvenile driver suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash on southbound US 61 at Pine Drive in Jefferson County, according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred the afternoon of September 3, 2026, at approximately 2:15 p.m., the patrol said. It involved a Coleman Mini Bike and a 2017 Ford Explorer, both traveling southbound at the time, based on the agency's online crash report.

The juvenile operating the mini bike sustained serious injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the Highway Patrol reported. No other injuries or fatalities were noted in connection with the crash.
