A 37-year-old Jasper, Missouri man suffered minor injuries in a single-vehicle moped crash on Missouri Highway V, about one mile north of Carthage, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.

The crash occurred the evening of August 23, 2026, at approximately 6:15 p.m., the Patrol reported. The man was riding a 2025 Zhilong Trenndy 50cc moped eastbound at the time of the incident, according to the preliminary report.

Patrol Troop D, which covers the area, responded to the crash. The driver was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries described as minor, the Patrol said.
