According to the Louisiana Police Department, a motor-vehicle crash was reported on Wednesday in Baton Rouge.
Officials did not confirm the exact number of injuries caused due to the accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred on I-110 North near Government Street.
An 18-wheeler crashed and the cab came to rest under the elevated portion of I-110 South.
Other details pertaining to the wreck are yet to be known.
The crash remains under investigation by the LPD.
