On Thursday, a motor vehicle in Augusta led to injuries.
As per the initial information, the traffic collision took place on the eastbound side of Riverwatch Parkway going towards the downtown area of Augusta. According to the officials, the incident led to injuries; however, it is unknown how many victims in total were involved.
It is also not known how many vehicles were involved in the accident. The left eastbound lane was shut down as crews worked at the scene. Traffic was congested in the area around midday Thursday due to the crash. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
