The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-car collision that resulted in injuries. The crash happened on Washington Road and Alexander Drive around 9 p.m.
According to the reports, multiple ambulances and patrol cars were dispatched to the scene.
According to the officer, two cars collided, with injuries that were not life-threatening, but one driver was taken away in an ambulance.
Traffic was backed up at the scene but has now been cleared.
It is unclear what caused the crash and if alcohol was a factor.
