On Saturday, a motor vehicle accident in Carson City led to injuries.
As per the initial information, the traffic collision took place on Williams Street, under the I-580 overpass a little after 12 p.m. Officials confirmed that the incident resulted in injuries; however, it is unknown how many victims in total were involved in the crash.
Officials shut down the eastbound lanes in the area and emergency vehicles were called at the scene. Drivers were asked to use alternate routes. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear at this time. No further details were provided.
