A 60-year-old Independence woman suffered minor injuries Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of E Truman Road and S Buckner Tarsney Road, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.

The collision occurred at approximately 7:00 a.m. on October 6, 2026, and involved a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox and a 2025 Chevrolet Equinox, both traveling north on E Truman Road, the Patrol reported.

The injured woman was transported for medical treatment following the crash, according to the Patrol's report. No other injuries were reported, and the incident resulted in one injury with no fatalities.

Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to and investigated the crash, which has been logged under incident number 260424556.
