Honda rams into cedar tree, seriously injures young driver (Vancouver, WA)

A 20-year-old Vancouver local received critical injuries after his car crashed into a large cedar tree on early Monday evening. As a result, Angel Gonzalez, 20, sustained life-threatening injuries.

The collision in the 2600 block of NE Minnehaha Street took place at around 6:15 p.m., the Clark County Sheriff’s Office said. Following which, the driver, named as Angel Gonzalez, was the sole occupant in the 1993 Honda Civic.

Investigators told that evidence at the scene demonstrated that the victim was driving at fairly fast speed at the time he struck the tree.
