A four-vehicle crash on U.S. 54 Westbound at Route D in Cole County left three people with minor injuries on the evening of October 9, 2026, according to a preliminary online crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The crash was reported at 7:03 p.m.

The Patrol's report identifies the vehicles involved as a 2018 Jeep Wrangler and a 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe, both traveling westbound, along with a 2022 Volkswagen Taos and a 2026 Volkswagen Taos, both traveling eastbound.

According to the Patrol, two juvenile occupants suffered minor injuries and were taken for medical treatment. A 43-year-old woman from Columbia, Missouri, also sustained minor injuries and was transported for treatment, the report states.
