A four-vehicle crash on Interstate 44 Eastbound, about five miles north of Marshfield, Missouri, left six people with minor injuries on the afternoon of Aug. 13, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report. The Patrol said the collision occurred at approximately 2:50 p.m. and involved a 2021 Chevrolet Blazer, a Kenworth T680 tractor-trailer, a Chevrolet Silverado and a 2026 Ford Explorer, all traveling eastbound at the time.
According to the Patrol report, those injured included a 22-year-old female driver, two juvenile occupants, a 24-year-old woman from Lebanon, a 25-year-old woman from Iberia, and a 43-year-old female driver also from Lebanon. All six sustained minor injuries and were transported for medical treatment, the report states.
Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D is investigating the crash, which remains under review as authorities work to determine how the four vehicles came together on the eastbound lanes of I-44.
No fatalities were reported in connection with the crash, and the extent of vehicle damage was not detailed in the preliminary report.
