A four-vehicle crash on Highway 63 at Virgil Faulkner Drive in Phelps County left six people injured, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's preliminary online crash report. The collision, logged as incident 260300672, occurred at 5:04 p.m. on July 17, 2026, and was investigated under the Patrol's Troop I jurisdiction.

According to the Patrol, the vehicles involved were a 2026 Chevrolet 1500 traveling northbound and three southbound vehicles — a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu, a 2022 Freightliner Cascadia and a 2015 Kia Optima.

Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time, according to weather data.

The Patrol reported that six people were transported for medical treatment with injuries ranging from minor to serious. Among those injured were a juvenile occupant with serious injuries, a juvenile occupant with moderate injuries, and a juvenile driver with moderate injuries. A 41-year-old woman from Rolla sustained moderate injuries, a 43-year-old man from Rolla sustained minor injuries, and a 54-year-old woman from Licking sustained serious injuries.

No fatalities were reported in connection with the crash.
