At least four people, including a child were injured following a two-vehicle accident in Lancaster on Saturday evening.
As per the initial information, the head-on crash took place at the intersection of 30th Street East and East Avenue G at about 5:30 p.m. Witnesses informed the authorities that it was a head-on accident in which a four-door sedan and a pick-up truck were involved. One of the vehicles reportedly had caught fire and the other vehicle ended up approximately 50-to-75 feet off the roadway.
One child was flown to the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles after mild complaints of discomfort. Three adults were taken to a nearby hospital by an ambulance. No information is available regarding the extent of injuries sustained by the victims.
The crash remains under investigation.
