Four people were injured late Saturday night when two vehicles collided on MO-5 near Route J in Morgan County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 11:42 p.m. on July 4, 2026, and involved a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado traveling southbound and a 2018 Jeep Renegade traveling northbound, the patrol's preliminary online crash report states.
Among those hurt was the 32-year-old female driver of one of the vehicles, a Jefferson City resident who sustained moderate injuries, the patrol reported. A 30-year-old female occupant, also from Jefferson City, suffered moderate injuries as well. Two additional occupants — a juvenile and an adult female — sustained minor injuries. All four were transported for medical treatment, according to the patrol.
No fatalities were reported in connection with the crash.
