An 84-year-old man from Forsyth was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash on US 160 about one mile south of Walnut Shade, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.

The crash occurred the afternoon of July 28, 2026, at approximately 3:09 p.m., the Patrol said. The driver was traveling east in a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee at the time of the crash, according to the report.

The man sustained serious injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol reported. No other vehicles were involved, and no fatalities were reported in connection with the crash.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D responded to and investigated the incident in Taney County.
