A five-vehicle crash on westbound Interstate 70 in Lafayette County left two people with minor injuries, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at 8:53 p.m. on July 19, 2026, near mile marker 43, the Patrol's online crash report states. Troop A responded to the scene.

According to the Patrol, all five vehicles involved were traveling westbound at the time of the crash: a 1998 Chevrolet Suburban, a 2011 Ford Fiesta, a 2022 Freightliner, a 2023 Kia Sportage and a 2016 Toyota 4Runner.

A 43-year-old man from O'Fallon, Missouri, sustained minor injuries, the Patrol reported. A 46-year-old woman from La Vista, Nebraska, also sustained minor injuries. No fatalities were reported in connection with the crash.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the incident, identified in its records as crash number 260304566.
