A five-vehicle crash on Interstate 35 in Clay County left two people with minor injuries, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.

The crash happened at mile marker 21.1 at approximately 10:02 a.m. on August 3, 2026, the Patrol said. All five vehicles were traveling northbound at the time of the collision.

The vehicles involved were identified as a 2011 Mazda 3, a 1993 Peterbilt, a 2024 Toyota Highlander, a 2015 GMC Sierra and a 2008 Honda Pilot, per the crash report.

Two occupants sustained minor injuries and were transported to area hospitals for treatment, the Patrol reported. No fatalities were noted in connection with the crash.

Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to and investigated the incident, which was logged under crash report number 260326715.
