Five juveniles suffered minor injuries when the vehicle they were traveling in crashed on MO 165 west of Hollister, according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened Wednesday afternoon, about 2 miles west of Hollister, the patrol said. A 2024 Hyundai Elantra was traveling northbound on MO 165 at the time of the single-vehicle crash, according to the highway patrol's online report.

All five occupants of the vehicle were juveniles, including the driver, the patrol said. The juvenile driver and four juvenile passengers each sustained minor injuries and were transported to area hospitals for treatment, according to the report.

No other vehicles were reported involved in the crash. The incident is being investigated by Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D, and the crash has been assigned report number 260308754.
