Five people were injured, one seriously, in a two-vehicle crash on MO-42 east of MO-134 in Miller County on the morning of Oct. 2, 2026, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The Patrol's preliminary online crash report, filed under incident number 260418804 and handled by Troop F, says a 2017 Toyota Sienna was traveling eastbound when it collided with a westbound 2025 Subaru Forester at approximately 7:20 a.m.

Three juvenile occupants suffered minor injuries and were taken for medical treatment, the Patrol reported. A juvenile driver also sustained minor injuries and was transported for care. A 23-year-old woman from Crocker, Missouri, who was driving one of the vehicles, suffered serious injuries and was taken for medical treatment as well.

No fatalities were reported in connection with the crash. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
