Five people were injured, including two juveniles with serious injuries, in a two-vehicle crash east of Hamilton on Friday evening, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The patrol said the collision occurred at 6:43 p.m. on October 9 at US 36 and Nettleton Road, about five miles east of Hamilton in Caldwell County. A 2021 Ford Explorer traveling westbound and a 2014 GMC Sierra traveling northbound were involved in the crash, investigators said.
According to the patrol's preliminary report, two juvenile occupants suffered serious injuries and were taken for medical treatment. A 58-year-old woman from Lincoln, Nebraska, sustained moderate injuries, while a 62-year-old man from Hamilton also suffered moderate injuries. A 70-year-old man from Hamilton, identified as a driver in the crash, was seriously injured. All five were transported for treatment, the patrol said.
No fatalities were reported in connection with the crash, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
