Firefighter Injured In A Motor Vehicle Collision In San Jose (San Jose, CA)

A motor vehicle struck a building’s gas meter causing a fire on the 5600 block of Calmor Court on Friday afternoon. 

The San Jose firefighter reported a motor vehicle collision that led to heavy smoke and flames shortly before 4 p.m. 

PD&E crew along with the San Jose firefighters team responded to the scene as the fire had extended into the attic of the two-story, four-unit apartment building. 

One of the firefighters was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The identity of the driver who collided with the building is awaited by the officials. 

The incident is still not under control, stated the firefighter’s team.
