Female scooter rider dead after a two-vehicle collision in Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV)

On Friday night, a woman lost her life after being struck by a vehicle while riding on an electric bike or scooter in Las Vegas.

As per the initial information, the fatal two-vehicle crash took place near Charleston Boulevard and June Street, close to Pecos. The early reports showed that a vehicle hit a woman riding on an electric bike or scooter.

The woman died of her injuries after the collision. Alcohol is not suspected to be involved on the part of the vehicle’s driver. The roadway from Charleston and Pecos was closed through May Street as crews worked at the scene. No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
