On Wednesday, a woman suffered critical injuries following an auto-pedestrian collision in Westminster.
As per the initial information, the hit-and-run crash took place at about 6:15 a.m. on Kalamath Drive and Iroquois Road. The early reports showed that a silver Ford Explorer hit a 30 to 35 years old woman who was crossing the street. Reports further revealed that the woman looked both ways before crossing the road and she ran across after seeing a vehicle approaching her.

On arrival, emergency crews transported the pedestrian to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange in critical condition. The driver of the involved vehicle drove away from the scene after the accident. No additional information has been provided.
