A fatality was reported following a traffic collision Friday night in Tyler.
As per the initial information, officers actively responded to the area of Hwy 31 East at CR 246 after getting reports of a two-vehicle crash. The incident was reported as fatal by the authorities, but no details are available regarding the person who died.
It is also unknown how many victims in total were involved in the wreck. The circumstances surrounding the crash also remain unclear. Motorists were asked to avoid the area. Officials have not provided any additional information in connection with the accident.
