According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal accident occurred on Yerba Buena Island on Wednesday. The crash happened near the on-ramp at Treasure Island Road at around 11:13 p.m. 

According to the investigators, a car, an SUV, and a big-rig truck were involved in the collision. According to the reports, it is unclear what caused the crash and if drugs or alcohol were a factor involved.

Some portions of the on-ramp at Treasure Island Road are blocked for further investigation. The Yerba Buena Island Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown people.

The accident is still being investigated at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role. Additional information regarding the crash is not available.
