Eastbound lanes of East Freeway were blocked following a crash Monday afternoon in east Houston.
As per the initial information, the semi-truck accident took place on the East Freeway at Mercury. The left shoulder, left lane and center lane are closed due to the wreck. Drivers along I-10 East in east Houston are asked to prepare for some traffic delays as crews work at the scene.
Crews estimate it will take about three hours to clean up the scene. It is unknown if the incident caused any injuries. The circumstances surrounding the crash also remain unclear. No other information is available at this time.
An investigation is underway.
