A 42-year-old woman from Dupo, Illinois, died following a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 270 Northbound south of Interstate 44 in St. Louis County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.
The crash happened around 1:58 a.m. local time, the Highway Patrol reported. Investigators said a 2013 RAM 1500 was traveling eastbound when it collided with a 2024 Freightliner Cascadia traveling northbound.
The woman sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was transported for medical treatment, according to the Highway Patrol. No additional injury information was released for other occupants involved.
