A 55-year-old man from Forsyth was seriously injured Tuesday morning when the dump truck he was driving crashed on MO-248 about two miles north of Branson, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred around 7:55 a.m. on MO-248, within the patrol's Troop D jurisdiction, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said in a preliminary online crash report. The agency reported that only one vehicle was involved, a 2025 Mack dump truck that was traveling north at the time of the crash.
