A driver suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash south of Lee Road on Route JJ in Cooper County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.

The crash occurred on Aug. 6, 2026, at approximately 11:50 a.m., the Patrol said. A 2011 Toyota Camry was traveling southbound on Route JJ at the time of the crash, according to the report.

The driver of the Camry sustained serious injuries, the Patrol reported. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, based on details released by investigators.

Dense drizzle was falling in the area at the time of the crash, according to weather data.
