Report

A driver suffered serious injuries early Saturday when a vehicle crashed on eastbound Interstate 44 about seven miles west of Marshfield, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.

The crash, logged as incident 260410166, happened around 4:03 a.m. local time and involved a single vehicle, a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox that was traveling eastbound at the time, the Patrol reported.

Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time of the crash, according to weather data.

The driver was transported for medical treatment after sustaining serious injuries, the Patrol said. No other vehicles were reported involved, and one injury was recorded in connection with the crash.

Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to and is investigating the incident.
