A driver suffered minor injuries early Thursday when the truck he was operating crashed on US 36 about five miles east of Monroe City, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report.
The crash happened at approximately 1:40 a.m. on August 6, the Patrol said. A 2016 Western Star truck was traveling westbound when it was involved in the single-vehicle incident, according to the report.
The driver, a 42-year-old man from Columbus, Ohio, was transported for medical treatment following the crash, the Patrol reported. His injuries were described as minor.
Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time, according to weather data.
Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop B is investigating the crash, which has been logged under incident number 260331085.
