A single-vehicle crash on eastbound Interstate 70 near mile marker 101.2 in Cooper County left one driver with minor injuries on Aug. 6, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The patrol said a 2021 Chevrolet Equinox was traveling eastbound when the crash occurred. The driver, whose identity has not been released, sustained minor injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the patrol reported.

Moderate rain was falling in the area at the time of the crash, according to weather data.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol's Troop F is investigating the crash, which has been logged as incident number 260331286. No other vehicles were reported involved.
