A driver suffered minor injuries early Friday after a single-vehicle crash on a ramp connecting Mexico City Avenue to southbound I-29 in Platte County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's preliminary crash report.

The crash was reported around 4:00 a.m. on July 31, 2026, involving a 2018 Hyundai Sonata that was traveling southbound at the time, the Patrol said. Troop A responded to the scene.

The driver sustained minor injuries but declined transport to a hospital for treatment, according to the report. No other vehicles were reported involved, and the crash resulted in one injury with no fatalities.

Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time of the crash, according to weather data.
