A driver suffered moderate injuries in a single-vehicle crash on FIR Road east of Carthage, according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 7, about a half mile east of Carthage in Jasper County, the patrol's online crash report states. The incident, logged as crash number 260333814, falls under the jurisdiction of Troop D.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2003 Toyota 4Runner was traveling eastbound on FIR Road at the time of the crash. The driver sustained moderate injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the report says.
