Driver injured after a car crashes into a pond in Mt. Juliet (Mt. Juliet, TN)

One person was injured after their vehicle crashed into a pond on Thursday afternoon in Mt. Juliet.

As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash took place at 3:00 p.m. on Mt. Juliet Road just north of Old Lebanon Dirt Road. On arrival, emergency responders helped the driver, put them on a gurney and in an ambulance.

The victim, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, did not receive any serious injuries. Northbound Mt. Juliet Road lanes were shut down as crews worked at the scene, but the lanes have since reopened. No further details were provided.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
