Driver Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Fort-Worth (Fort-Worth, TX)

The Fort Worth Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Tuesday morning. The accident happened close to TCU at around 5 a.m.

A black Ford Flex struck a curb and a metal guardrail while traveling southbound close to the 2400 block of Forest Park Boulevard. After passing through a grass median, the car struck a wooden electric pole square in the head. The back of the Ford Flex struck a building after it came to rest on its passenger side. 

The driver had to be extricated by the Fort Worth Fire Department when the car caught fire at the front. According to authorities, the driver had burns on his face, legs, arms, and body. He was then transported by air to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries later.

The fatal crash is still being investigated by the officials.
