A 45-year-old Doniphan woman died Saturday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash on MO-21 north of the city, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 4:05 p.m. on July 4, 2026, about 10 miles north of Doniphan in Ripley County, the Highway Patrol's online crash report states. The driver was operating a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox northbound at the time of the crash.
Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time, according to weather data.
The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene, the Highway Patrol reported. No other injuries or vehicles were listed in connection with the crash.
