Authorities reported a motor vehicle crash involving a Curry County deputy near Roswell. The crash occurred on U.S. 70 in Chaves County at about 4:20 p.m.
According to the department, Curry County Court Deputy Amy Jo McKenna was helping a court-ordered transport facility. The ambulance left the roadway and rolled over.
The ambulance was traveling from Clovis to Roswell.
The driver and the other passengers, including McKenna, were transported to the Eastern New Mexico Medical Center In Roswell for critical injuries.
McKenna was later flown to a medical center in El Paso.
An investigation into the crash is under review.
