A crash on Highway 7 north of Route Z in Climax Springs left one person dead Thursday afternoon, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The Patrol said a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling northbound on Highway 7 when it crossed the center line. A 45-year-old driver was involved in the crash, the report states.

One fatality was reported as a result of the crash, according to the Highway Patrol. Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances leading up to the crossing of the center line.
