A 42-year-old Centralia man suffered serious injuries in a crash involving his motorcycle on Route U just south of Ricketts Road in Boone County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The patrol said the crash happened around 3:50 p.m. Saturday. The motorcyclist was riding a 2008 Harley-Davidson Dyna Street Bob northbound on Route U when the crash occurred, involving a second vehicle driven by a 55-year-old Hallsville resident. Details about the second vehicle have not been released by investigators.

Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time of the crash, with temperatures near 71 degrees and wind gusts around 19 mph, according to weather data.

The injured motorcyclist was the only person reported hurt in the crash. No fatalities were reported.
