Bryant Boulevard closed after a motorcycle accident (San Angelo, TX)

On Friday morning, a serious motorcycle accident led to the closure of 4th and Bryant Boulevard.

Officers issued a Nixle alert and asked the drivers to avoid the area at about 6:30 a.m.  Responders at the scene said that the area was shut down for several hours while investigation was ongoing. The only vehicle found at the accident scene was the motorcycle, officials mentioned.

According to the reports, the damaged motorcycle was on the street in front of Julio’s Burritos and Bryant Blvd. and it was closed for several blocks. It is unknown at this time if any other vehicles were involved in the collision and the extent of injuries of the victims involved in the crash.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
