A 61-year-old Branson man suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle collision on MO-13 just north of Blue Eye, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report.

The crash happened at approximately 4:30 p.m. on October 1, about 1.5 miles north of Blue Eye, the Patrol reported. A 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier was traveling south on MO-13 at the same time a 2000 Ford Econoline E350 was heading north when the two vehicles collided, according to the Patrol's report.

Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time, according to weather data.

The Branson man, identified as the driver involved, sustained serious injuries in the crash and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol said. No other injuries or fatalities were reported in connection with the crash.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D is investigating the incident, which is cataloged under crash report number 260418316.
